The Granite State Swimming association (GSSA) is a summer reacreational league consisting of 30 swim teams. Membership in the league is open to any qualified team from the areas of Massachussetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, or others as voted in by the majority of the general membership present at the annual spring meeting. The purpose of the GSSA is to promote and develop competitive swimming, in the belief that this activity offers a positive means for increasing athletic ability and character development.
